The proposal defense of Sino-Africa STB master students

June 26, 2020, I had breakfast at our canteen at 07:30 am and then headed to the classroom to attend the proposal defense of Sino-African STB master students. A total number of 15 master's students presented our research proposal today. We received comments, suggestions and questions from the evaluation committee. On my part, I presented my research on the influence of tillage, straws and nitrogen in maize production in North China Plains.

After presentation I received two comments from the evaluation committee with regard to my research on maize.

One comment was about to do the experiment in two seasons-this will be discussed with my supervisor to see the possibility of doing two seasons as it is practically possible.

The second suggestion was to compare the data from 10 previous years since this is a long term experiment. I honestly agree with the suggestions and comments from the evaluation team.
