Dezhong STB visit

This STB is involved in producing grapes as a major crop. Other crops include maize, cucumber, pumpkin and sunflower. Dezhong STB was established in April 2018 and is located at Quzhou town, Quzhou county in Hebei and the responsible teachers are Professor Li Xiaolin, Professor Zhang Weifeng, Professor Zhang Hongyan and Teacher Wang Shaolei.

The STB was established with the goal of green production and industrial prosperity, and it is the driving force for the development. We learned about production constraints which led to the establishment of this STB which include the poor soil fertility management in grapes production.
